WRITING FOR RYL

Mia Medaković-Topalović is the founder and editor-in-chief of the online magazine Refresh Your Life (RYL). RYL is a mix of spirituality, art, culture, beauty, fashion and personal development. The texts in the magazine are written and published in Serbian, Croatian, English, Bosnian, Italian and German. With a simple click, RYL can be read worldwide.

I was introduced to Mia by a mutual friend from Florence, and when Mia visited Abu Dhabi in April 2018 we met. She set about interviewing me and I was struck by her dynamic and vibrant personality. The interview titled “iPhoneart Journey" was published in May 2018.

In October of the same year whilst visiting Baku in Azerbaijan, I was contacted by Mia to write an article about my meeting there with artist Faig Ahmed.

In November 2019 I was once again asked to write for the magazine and had a fantastic time putting together “Linda’s Wonderland”.

This February RYL with its 91st issue celebrated its 8th birthday. It was a great honour to be asked to write for this issue. My article is titled “The heart of the lion”.
